Album Review; In The Sky
Full of hooks, melodic and lyrical genius, Mallrat’s soon to be released EP In The Sky is ineffable. If ‘Better’ and ‘UFO’ didn’t already set your standards high enough, this EP outdoes itself going above and beyond what anyone could expect. With collaborations with Japanese Wallpaper, AllDay and Golden Vessel, the sheer genius of this EP and all its tracks draws you in and leaves you disappointed that there are only 5 songs.
Maybe its the combination of Grace’s ethereal voice and Japanese Wallpaper’s skilful and fluent producing thats makes ‘Make Time’ one of my favourite tracks on the EP. Everyone should definitely preorder this absolute masterpiece before it comes out on the 1st of June, and maybe chuck a t-shirt or the Vinyl in your basket as well because Mallrat is one to watch.
