SLEEPOVER
Hepsibah Benjamin
A book of poetry that stretches across the shifting landscape of two days in the collective mind of the artists. In the tradition of the hallowed childhood sleepover, you – the reader will become the special keeper of our most intimate memories, transcendent ecstasies and creepiest secrets.

As time passes, colour and feeling shift:
Afternoon is blue, falling lines ~ a drop in temp, a lamppost, a backwards-facing grief
Evening pink ~ slick steaming erotiics, sparkl/s and lash/s and a sexy sexy wax
Night is blood chaos ~ mind jerks around like scared s[lug] and her thoughts are rippptup! into a prickling trap of obsessive-compulsive shards
Dawn is pale hope rising ~ found baby, mother rockpool, a gentle home beyond the shoreline
