Pushing through snow, seeing the clouds drop rain and as you ascend into the heavens the rain becomes heavier and then turns to slow falling snow. As my group breaks through the pine trees that we have been hiking through for hours, we finally break out onto a ridge. The storm passes and we are greeted with a beautiful clear lookout over the Rocky Mountains.
